New rough sleeping figures released by Broadway
Overall the total number of people seen sleeping on the streets of London in 2009/10 rose by six per cent from the previous year. However this was due to a rise in non UK rough sleepers, mainly from Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries .

Broadway to deliver Engage to Change
Broadway will start delivery of an open course programme for Engage to Change in September 2010. This new and exciting training programme has been designed specifically for frontline workers in the homeless sector.

Boris Johnson opens Arlington House
Thursday 10th June saw the launch of Arlington House, Camden’s newly renovated hostel for rough sleepers. Arlington, of which Broadway is a key partner, has been billed the ‘fresh, contemporary and unique project to transform the UK’s approach to homelessness and community life’.

Virgin Money Giving Switch Over
From June, Broadway is making the switch over to Virgin Money Giving. Last year Broadway supporters raised over £15,000 through online sponsorship and we are hoping the switch over will help to raise even more.

Broadway launches recycling campaign with Morrisons in Camden
From June – August 2010, shoppers of Morrisons in Camden will be encouraged to donate their unwanted mobile phones, ink cartridges and other IT equipment to raise valuable funds for Broadway.

Election Hustings at Broadway's Coninghams Hostel
Wednesday 28th April saw Broadway’s Coninghams hostel play host to an Election Debate between the local MP candidates for Hammersmith. Shaun Bailey (Conservatives), Merlene Emerson (Liberal Democrats) and Andy Slaughter (Labour) all took centre stage for a memorable debate.
