Improving Broadway's Services

There are many opportunities for you to help us to improve our services:

Client Forum

Have a real impact on how Broadway works - become a Client Forum member.  This is where you attend a quarterly meeting with Broadway's Chief Executive and a Broadway Board Member to discuss the key issues on the Board's agenda. The meetings take place just before the Board meeting so that your views are fed into the discussion.

Meet the Management

Come to a 'Meet the Management' session to meet and share views with senior staff. Members of our Board and senior managers will be on hand to answer your questions and hear your ideas.

Be an auditor

Receive training to take part in Broadway’s service audit programme, and help improve our services. Working alongside staff auditors, you could be involved in interviewing clients or inspecting services.

Be a mystery shopper

Receive training to work with staff in testing the quality of our services.  Working alongside staff, you will be involved in visiting and telephoning services to ensure we meet our service standards.

Listening Lunch

At each of these sessions, we focus on a different area of our work such as repairs or client safety. We provide lunch and discuss your experiences and views which we use to improve the way we work.

Resident/client meetings

These meetings are held regularly at hostels or properties, so you can hear about and have your say on local issues. You can get even more involved in how they’re run by taking minutes or chairing the meetings.

Give feedback on your worker's performance

Every support worker has a regular performance review to see how they are doing. You can give your feedback about the support they give you and make suggestions about how this could be improved.

Focus Groups

Sometimes there are specific issues which we would like to hear your opinions on. This might be a change to a service, or a new project. A small group of clients will meet with staff to discuss the issue in an informal group setting - refreshments and travel expenses are always provided.
