Home Truths

Last year, a total of 3,975 people were seen sleeping on the streets of London, a rise of 8%.

The average person is only three pay cheques away from losing their home.
People become homeless through utterly desperate circumstances, where sleeping on the streets is their only resort.

The winter months are the hardest – freezing temperatures, hunger, poor physical and mental health, loneliness – these are just a few of the devastating problems facing our capital’s homeless population.

Jay and Patrick experienced first hand the trauma and distress of sleeping on the streets.

Broadway exists to ensure that every person finds and keeps a home. It is not acceptable in the 21st century that people should have to sleep on the streets.

As London prepares for the cold weather snap this winter, please spare a thought for the people sleeping on the streets.

Text BWAY02 £2 to 70070 now, donate online, to help our work with homeless people this winter.

Thank you.
