Broadway has responded to the Communities and Local Government consultation on the proposed changes to guidance on evaluating the extent of rough sleeping.

Broadway's relevance to this consultation lay within our outreach services in the City of London, Kensington and Chelsea and Heathrow and our CHAIN system, the most comprehensive source of information available on rough sleeping.

Broadway responded to issues including:

  • Conducting street counts
  • Submitting an estimate
  • Definition of rough sleeping
  • Coordinated counts
  • Time of count
  • Overseeing the count
