London Supporting People

June 2004

Broadway responded to the call for evidence to develop London's Supporting People Strategy. Broadway drew on its experience as a direct service provider as well as the views of clients to drive its response. Broadway drew particular attention to the following areas:

  • Need for a strong pan-London lead on Supporting People
  • The need to develop more partnership based schemes
  • The issues around capital and revenue funding for supporting housing schemes
  • The need to develop more enhanced bench marking mechanisms against which schemes can be measured
