Reaching Out
December 2007
Reaching Out is a research report covering the findings of Shelter's biggest ever consultation with street homeless people. The report identifies the progress made over the past 10 years (since the creation of the Rough Sleepers Unit), as well as highlighting the gaps in the current safety net.
Broadway’s research team undertook over 100 interviews with rough sleepers in London along with a small number of qualitative interviews for the project. The team also delivered analysis for the 257 interviews undertaken across the country.
