Real Lettings is a pan-London, private sector move-on project. It provides an alternative source of move on accommodation to social housing. As part of this project we are working with local authorities, to move their clients into the private rented sector.
Real Lettings - Who We Are
Real Lettings is the social enterprise arm of Broadway. Broadway’s vision is that every homeless person finds and keeps a home. Real Lettings is one of the services playing a valuable part in their work towards achieving this.
Real Lettings was developed in response to the large shortage of social housing(council or housing association) available to people living in supported accommodation. Most people ready to move on from supported accommodation will not be offered social housing and so have nowhere to move on to leaving them stuck. Real Lettings is funded by local authorities to help move people into independent housing in the private rented sector.
We’ve been managing properties and supporting people in housing for 25 years. This means we understand the challenges people on benefits face and we also know what what it is like to be a landlord. Real Lettings works hard to ensure that both our tenants and our landlords are supported equally.
