Support We provide a range of services
from street to home for vulnerable individuals when they need it.
We work with and encourage other agencies that support homeless
people to push forward the barriers of good practice.
Guide By developing trust and demonstrating
respect, we show individuals the choices open to them and the potential
within them. We look for new and better ways to create awareness
among our staff, funders, the media, government and the general
public about the needs of single homeless people.
Influence By recognising people’s
individuality and addressing their personal, mental, physical and
social needs, we encourage individuals to positively change their
lives. By advocating change in public and official attitudes, we
influence the policy and practice of agencies, institutions and
government towards single homeless people.

Personal |
| Homelessness is a series of societal problems that
deserve personal solutions. We recognise people’s individuality
and address their personal, mental, physical and social needs. We
believe this is the only way to help them make the most of their
lives, find independence, and reach their potential, wherever that
leads. We address far more than their housing needs, striving to
ensure that every single person finds and keeps a home. |

|
| We support homeless people towards living more
independently. Our role is not only to respond at the time of need
but to also plan for it beforehand. We are flexible enough to think
on our feet and find new ways to new solutions. We learn to see
past the barriers people have built up, to recognise them for who
they are and what they can achieve in their lives. |

|
| We are committed to doing something positive about
homelessness. Sometimes, that means working together with other
homelessness agencies to push forward the boundaries of good practice.
We also advocate for change in official and public attitudes towards
homelessness. But mostly it’s about doing whatever it takes
to ensure that the journey from street to home for every single
person becomes one of hope, opportunity and new direction.
