Journey so far…
At Broadway we are proud of the steps we have made since we were formed four years ago. Most importantly, we feel a sense of real achievement in the positive difference we have made during that time to the lives of thousands and thousands of homeless and vulnerably housed people in London and beyond. This was our main motivation when Broadway was created in 2002. We have tried to hold true to our commitment to homeless people since that time. We have also set out to provide a voice for homeless people in London. We have done this and so much more to the extent that Broadway is now seen as one of the leading homelessness charities in the UK - an organisation to be trusted and with a reputation for providing good quality services based on what people really need and their own aspirations.
We would now like to re-affirm that commitment to our core purpose and to ensuring that each and every single homeless person in London finds and keeps a home; whatever it takes, however long it takes. We would like to thank all of our clients, staff and supporters who have helped us on the first part of this journey. The second part now beckons. We must continue to be the effective organisation that people know and recognise. More than this, we must continue to demonstrate that what we do continues to make a real difference to people’s lives.
The 2nd Broadway Strategy 'moving forwards' is our way of setting out what that means in practice. Developed in collaboration with all our clients and partners it determines the impact that Broadway will have in all areas of our work over the next 3 years - an impact that has at its core making sure that homeless people get the support and help they need to make the most of their lives.
